One of my readers cruelly suggested that my last story may not have been 100% truthful. I’m aghast! Ok, so a couple of details could have been slightly stretched
It doesn’t take long for Canada to feel just like home, especially after you get used to driving on the wrong side of the road, and of course that funny feeling in the back of your mind that you’re walking upside down on the bottom of the world.
For those of you who asked me to blog this trip – you only have yourselves to blame!
Like all good sequels, this story picks up just before the point where my last story finished.
If you google “things to do in Brisbane on a rainy day” you don’t get many results.
How often do you find your life directed by bells and whistles? Take yesterday afternoon. We’ve opted for a quick look at the cathedral before we start home from the Adelaide oval. An old hand woven banner catches my attention. “The St Peter’s Bell Ringer Association.”
There’s a tram from Glenelg to downtown Adelaide. It’s free – I’m told. After a leisurely breakfast our intrepid band of adventurers addresses the eternal question – what to do today.

It’s cold and windy this morning but we have a plan (and we have warm coats).

Sometimes you just have to experience something for yourself to believe it. We’re constantly updated with information but, if you can’t touch and feel it yourself, it isn’t really real. (The exception of course is Facebook. If it’s on Facebook, it must be true).
